Testimonial Card

On light, dark & image

The Alchemy testimonial — a frosted, semi-transparent card, centred, with a serif-italic quote and the person beneath. The same card sits on each surface; the frost picks up whatever is behind it, so it reads best over a dark section or a photo.

On light

I am a statement — a short, glowing quote goes here.

Person Name Role, Company Name

On dark

I am a statement — a short, glowing quote goes here.

Person Name Role, Company Name

On image

I am a statement — a short, glowing quote goes here.

Person Name Role, Company Name

Props

Prop	Type	Default	Notes
`quote`	string	`—`	The quote. Required.
`author`	string	`—`	Person’s name.
`role`	string	`—`	Role / company.
`avatar`	string	`—`	Avatar image URL.

Usage

Place it over a hero image or a blurred backdrop so the frost has something to sit against.

<TestimonialCard
  quote="I am a statement — a short, glowing quote."
  author="Person Name"
  role="Role, Company Name"
  avatar="/img/avatar.jpg"
/>

Rules

Use a real name and role — attribution makes it credible.

Keep the quote short — it’s a floating moment, not a wall of text.

Don't

Put it on a flat cream section with nothing behind it — the frost has nothing to do.

Give it a hard border — the blur and shadow define the edge.
